How to change the language in Gmail: step by step

Step 1: Sign into your Gmail account.

Step 1: To change the language of the Gmail app on Android, you need to reset the device language. To do this, open the “Settings” of your Android device by tapping on the cog icon.
Step 2: In the Settings menu, go to “System” and then to “Languages & input”.
Step 3: Now click on “Languages”, tap on the desired language and drag it to the top of the list. If the language isn’t listed, simply add it. The language of the Gmail app will then be changed automatically.
