With the BookingPress app, you can create and manage appointments and events in MyWebsite Now. This Help Center article explains how to activate BookingPress and integrate it into your website project.

What you can do with BookingPress

BookingPress is a comprehensive, highly customizable booking and scheduling plugin. It is suitable for service providers of all kinds – from beauty salons, gyms and medical practices to coaches, consultants and event organizers. Below is a selection of the features offered by BookingPress:

  • Can be used internally (by staff) and externally (by customers)
  • Payment systems, such as PayPal and Stripe, can be integrated
  • Booking forms can be flexibly customized
  • Configuration of recurring appointments and packages, locations, services and categories

Activate BookingPress

To use BookingPress on MyWebsite Now:

  • Log in to your IONOS customer account.
  • In the title bar, click Menu > Web Projects. An overview of your web projects will be displayed.
  • Click on Manage project. The Presence Suite will open.
  • In the menu on the left-hand side, select Apps > All Apps, then click Activate on the BookingPress App tile.

Once activated, the BookingPress app will be added to the MyWebsite Now elements and can be used right away.

Using BookingPress on your website

Once you have activated BookingPress, add a section using the MyWebsite Now editor.

  • If your page is blank apart from the header and footer, click Add section in the content area.
  • Hover your mouse pointer over the content area until the Add Section button appears.
  • Click on the Booking section type and finalise the positioning by clicking the Done button.
  • Click on the section you have just inserted. The BookingPress configuration menu will open.
