Converting a Forwarding Address to a Mailbox

In this article, we'll show you how to convert your forwarding email address to a fully functional mailbox, allowing it to collect messages received and send new ones instead of only forwarding them elsewhere.

Please Note

While you cannot directly change a forward to a mailbox, the steps below will show you how to delete your forward so that you can recreate the same address as a mailbox.

Delete the forwarding address you would like to convert.
You can now create the email address using the address previously assigned to the forward.
