Placing ads on TikTok

Valid for MyWebsite Now and MyWebsite Creator with an Online Store.

TikTok is one of the social networks with the highest number of users. This article explains how to advertise on TikTok through your IONOS Online Store.

Requirement

Opening Your Online Store

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click Menu > Web Projects in the title bar.
  • In the tile with the name of your online store, click the Manage project button.
  • Click Manage Your Online Store, or otherwise, go to the corresponding administration interface of the online store you are using.

Connecting with TikTok

  • In the online store administration menu, select Store > TikTok.
  • In the Details section, enter your cell phone number.
  • Click the Connect TikTok for Business account button. TikTok will open in a new window.
  • Log in to TikTok. All ads are created and managed in your TikTok for Business account, not in your online store.

Ending TikTok Advertising

If you don't want to run any more TikTok ads, you need to disconnect it in the administration interface of your online store and also terminate it in your TikTok for Business account.
