The IONOS website translator app translates your MyWebsite Now project into over a hundred languages. The app completely translates the visible content of your website. This article explains how to set it up.

Requirement

The app IONOS Website Translator must first be activated. The Help Center article "Extending MyWebsite Now with MyApps" explains the process.

Calling up the MyWebsite Now editor

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • In the title bar click on Menu > Websites & Stores.
  • Click on Manage website in the tile with the name of your online project. The Presence Suite for this project opens.
  • In the left menu bar of the Presence Suite, select Website > Website Editor. The MyWebsite Now Editor opens in a new window.

Configuring the IONOS Website Translator

Notes

  • Before using the IONOS website translator for the first time, you must agree to the privacy policy.
  • Your website is translated into the desired target languages in real time. It is therefore not possible to change this translation at a later date.
  • In the menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor, click on Settings > Website Translator.
  • In the administration of IONOS Website Translator > Widget options, adjust the appearance and behavior of the app.
  • Under the menu item Flag languages, select the languages that should be available for your website.
  • Finish the configuration with the Save Changes button. The language widget is now displayed on your website as configured by you.
