Overview: Shared Storage
Shared storage is a hard disk that can be connected to several servers for shared use. Thus, all servers get common access to the same data. In the Infrastructure > Shared Storage section, all shared storages that you have configured are displayed in a table. This table lists the most important information for each shared storage:
Name: The name assigned to the shared storage. You can change the name of the shared storage at any time.
Status: The current status of the shared storage.
- Active: The shared storage is active.
- Disabled: The shared storage is disabled.
- Configuring: The configuration of the shared storage will be changed.
- Deleting: The shared storage will be deleted.
Size: Storage capacity of the shared storage.
Use (%): Percentage of space used.
Data center: IONOS data center where the shared storage is hosted.
To display all data for a specific shared storage, click its name. The list includes the following additional information:
Description: The description of the shared storage. You can change the description at any time.
Size: Storage capacity of the shared storage.
Used / free space: Size of the used and free space.

Data center: IONOS data center where the shared storage is hosted.
ID: ID of the shared storage.
Date of creation: The date on which the shared storage was set up.
Access: In this section, you set the servers' access rights for the shared storage.
Assigned servers: List of the assigned servers.
