Overview: VPS Usage
For VPS purchased after May 16, 2023
This article explains what information is listed in the Costs > Usage section of the Cloud Panel.
In the Usage section, the usage time of the servers and public IP addresses you set up is listed in a table.
Showing the Usage Section
- Log in to your IONOS account.
In the title bar, click Menu > Server & Cloud. If you have multiple server contracts, select the one you want to view.
In the navigation bar on the left, click Costs > Usage.
Notes
The cost overview does not take into account discounts and special promotions. The displayed time is given as coordinated universal time (UTC).
On the Invoice Overview page, in the Individual Invoices tab, you can download your individual invoices from the last 2 years in PDF format. For more information on downloading invoices, please see the article Downloading invoices at IONOS.
Invoices from IONOS are always automatically sent to the email address you have specified in your contact details. If you have saved a secondary email address for receiving invoices in your customer details, a copy of your invoices and payment-related information will automatically be sent to this additional email address. This gives you the option of having your invoices and payment-related information sent to two different email addresses at the same time.

Structure of the Usage Section
This table lists the most important information regarding your server usage:
Period: In the Period section, you can set the desired period you want to view.
Group:
Service: Displays the purchased services.
Avg. Amount: Shows the amount of purchased services.
From: Time from which the respective service was used.
To: Ending time to which the service usage is set to display.
Usage: Exact usage time per minute
Server: Displays the servers that have been used by you during the relevant period.
IP: Displays the public IP addresses that have been used by you during the time period.
