Invoices for your IONOS products are sent to the email address stored in your IONOS account, provided you have given consent. This article explains how to set up a second email address for receiving invoices and all payment-related information. This can be helpful for sending a copy, for example, to your accounting department.

Note

Emails sent to the additional address are always a copy of the emails sent to the primary email address.

Add a second email address

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click Menu > My account in the title bar. The My account page opens.

  • Click on the My customer data tile. The My customer data page opens.
  • Click on the Edit link in the Contact section.
  • Enter the desired second email address in the Additional email address for invoice receipt - Optional field.
  • Click on Save. The security check for changing your additional email address window will open. At the same time, a 6-digit confirmation code will be sent to the primary email address you have on file. The code is valid for 20 minutes.
  • Enter the confirmation code in the provided field and click Submit.

Note

If the code is entered incorrectly 10 times, the process will be cancelled for security reasons and you will be automatically logged out of your IONOS account.
