Minimum Age Restrictions for Account Ownership

In order to create an IONOS account and purchase IONOS products, you must be at least 18 years old (or 21 years old in places where eighteen years is not the age of majority). This information is provided in the IONOS Terms & Conditions at checkout, and all customers must agree to this before creating an IONOS account.
IONOS reserves the right to terminate a contractual relationship if this requirement has been disregarded.
Locked IONOS Accounts
If your IONOS account has been locked because you have not reached the minimum required age, you will first need to settle any outstanding payments due.
Next, in order to reactivate your account, it will need to be transferred to a person of legal age. Contact IONOS Customer Service for assistance with this process.
Deletion of IONOS Accounts
If your IONOS account has been deleted because you have not reached the minimum age, all contracts, features, and services within the account will be cancelled.
All data contained within the account will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
