This article explains how to treat emails from specific senders as spam in IONOS Webmail so that they no longer appear in your inbox.
If you repeatedly receive unwanted spam or advertising emails from a particular sender, you can set up a list of blocked senders in Webmail. This list ensures that these emails are filtered directly into the Spam folder and no longer appear in your inbox.
- Log in to IONOS Webmail.
- In the main navigation, click the gear icon (tooltip Settings).

- Click All settings …. The Settings window opens.

- In the navigation bar on the left, click Anti-SPAM.
- Scroll to the Personal Lists section.
- In the Blocked Senders field, enter the email addresses that you want to add to the list of blocked senders. The changes are saved automatically.

- Close the Settings window.
Note
You can also define entire address ranges here. For example, to filter all emails from the address range @example.com as spam, enter *@example.com. To filter all emails sent via a subdomain as spam, enter *@*.example.com.
The asterisk serves as a placeholder (wildcard).
