Requirements for using Webmail 2.0

Valid for hosting customers with an IONOS email address.

This article explains which plans Webmail 2.0 is available on, which browsers can be used with Webmail 2.0, and what screen resolution is required to use it.

Please note the following requirements for using Webmail 2.0.

Plans

Webmail 2.0 is available in:

  • Web Hosting plans
  • Online Store plans
  • Server plans
  • MyWebsite plans

Web browser

PC and Mac
  • Google Chrome: current and previous versions
  • Mozilla Firefox: current and previous ESR versions
  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium): current version
  • Apple Safari 17.x
Mobile devices and tablets
  • Android: Android 10 or later with Chrome (latest version)
  • iOS/iPadOS (iPhone/iPad):
    Apple Safari 17.x or later
    Other browsers: The device must be running iOS/iPadOS 16.7.2 or later.

Note

In general, you can also use Webmail 2.0 with other browsers or, for example, newer beta versions of browsers. However, we do not support these. We therefore recommend that, should you encounter any problems whilst using Webmail, you use one of the browsers listed above in the versions specified.

Screen resolution

For Webmail 2.0 to display correctly, a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels is required.
