Setting Up Mail Business Accounts
In this article, we'll show you how to easily set up a Mail Business account.
Log in to your IONOS account.
Under Menu, click on the Email tile.
If necessary, select the contract that you want to use.
Click the Create email address button at the top right corner.
Click Create in the Mail Business tile.
In the Email field, enter the desired name of the email address (the part that should appear before the @ sign) and select a domain.
Enter the desired password.
Optional: To have emails forwarded to another email address, activate the setting Add forwarding target. Then, enter the desired email address(es).
Optional: Activate Anti-SPAM. Anti-SPAM automatically filters out suspicious emails.
Optional: Activate Virus Protection. The virus protection automatically scans incoming emails and protects you against viruses, worms and Trojans.
Optional: Activate Email Archiving to set up automatic backups of your new Mail Business account.
You can always change the security settings later.
Finally, click Save.
The Mail Business user is set up and ready to use. If you set up the account for someone else or would like the details for yourself, you can click the Send Overview button to have the login details sent by email.
