Valid for MyWebsite Now.
Labeling of links, buttons, and embedded content should clearly reflect their purpose. Labels such as "Next" or "Learn more" are not helpful, especially when using screen readers. This article explains how to adapt the labeling of links, buttons, and embeddings in your MyWebsite Now project in order to meet this requirement of the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG).

Recommendations for descriptions of links and buttons
Text links and labelling should be clear and meaningful, e.g. "Open the current menu".
Provide information when a link opens a new window or leaves the current website.
Avoid identical or duplicate labelling of text links and buttons.
Recommendations for external integration
External embeddings, such as Google Maps, YouTube, or code snippets, are often difficult for screen readers to interpret. It is therefore important that you give external integrations a descriptive title. To do this, you can enter a title for the elements for Google Maps, YouTube, and <> Code under Details.
The title should always be formulated in such a way that it makes it clear what the external integration is about. For example, "Here you can find a YouTube video that presents our products" or "You can find our location on this Google Maps map".
Customize link text
Open the MyWebsite Now editor as described in the Help Center article "Opening the MyWebsite Now editor".
Click on Content in the menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor.
Move your mouse over the detail area and select the link text. The toolbar is displayed.
Click on Link in the toolbar and select a link type.
Enter the required additional information, such as the address of an external website, and finalize your entry by clicking Confirm.
