Unassigning a block storage

Valid for Cloud Servers and migrated Cloud Servers, which are managed in Cloud Panel

You can unassign an existing block storage at any time. Complete the following to unassign a block storage:

• Log in to your IONOS account.

• Click on the  Servers & Cloud tile. If you have multiple server contracts, select the desired contract.

• Click on the desired server in the Infrastructure > Server area.

• To edit the block storage assignment, click on the pencil icon in the Block Storage: line. A window then opens.

• Uncheck the block storage that is assigned.

• Click on Confirm Changes.

The block storage is now unassigned.
