Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
Valid for Cloud Servers and migrated Cloud Servers, which are managed in the Cloud Panel.
To be able to access a block storage, you must assign it to a Cloud Server that is located in the same data center. Please note that the block storage can only be assigned to a single Cloud Server. After assigning the block storage, you must adjust the disk configuration in your operating system. To assign a block storage to a Cloud Server, complete the following:
- Log in to your IONOS account.
Click on the Servers & Cloud tile. If you have multiple server contracts, select the desired contract.
Click on Infrastructure > Block Storage in the navigation bar on the left.
Select the desired block storage.
Click on the pencil icon in the Assigned to: line. A window opens.
In the window, select the server to which the block storage is to be assigned.
Click on Save changes.
The block storage is assigned to the server.
