Detailed session evaluation
This evaluation shows the number of sessions in the currently set period.
A session begins when a visitor accesses your website and ends when they leave it. If a visitor visits your website several times a day, several sessions are counted.
A session is automatically ended after 30 minutes of inactivity. In other words: If a visitor opens further pages of your website within the 30 minutes, one session is counted. If the visitor was inactive for 30 minutes and then visits other pages on your website, two sessions are counted.
If you compare the Visitors metric with the Sessions metric, you can recognize whether your website has many returning visitors.
