This evaluation shows the number of sessions in the currently set period.
A session begins when a visitor accesses your website and ends when they leave it again. If a visitor visits your website several times a day, several sessions are counted.
A session is automatically ended after 30 minutes of inactivity. In other words: If a visitor calls up further pages of your website within the 30 minutes, a session is counted. If the visitor was inactive for 30 minutes and then visits other pages on your website, 2 sessions are counted.
If you compare the Visitors evaluation with the Sessions evaluation, you can see whether your website has many returning visitors.
