Customer reviews are an important quality feature for your online business. This article explains how to integrate customer reviews, e.g. from Google and Facebook, into your website project.
Note:
The integration of customer ratings is not possible in all List Local tariffs. The IONOS Customer Support will help you with product questions.
Activating and integrating customer reviews
- Log in to your IONOS account.
- In the title bar, click on Menu > Online Marketing > List Local: Open.
Please note: If you are running List Local for the first time, the setup wizard will now start. The following steps assume that you have already completed this setup. - Click on Location Hub in the left menu.
- Click on the listing under Location that you'd like to implement.
- Click on Website in the List Local menu bar.
- Click on Generate in the Review Widget section. This only needs to be done once before the first use. The widget is created and detailed options are displayed.
- In the Directories group, select the sources for the customer reviews. All possible sources are activated by default.
- Under Privacy policy, insert the URL of your website's privacy policy page.
- Under Language, select the language for the review widget.
- Copy the content of Review Widget Snippet with Copy.
- Paste the copied code into the HTML code of your website. If you use a content management solution, such as WordPress, there are usually separate functions for this.
