Managing Images
For the Website Builder and MyWebsite
The image pool is the central image management tool of the MyWebsite editor. You may know this, for example, from using the image elements. When you insert an image into your page, select the image in each element from the image pool. You can also open the image pool directly to manage your images or browse through the IONOS stock images.
This article describes a function of the editor that was ordered before 09/06/2017.
Please select your editor version.
Step 1
Log in to MyWebsite.
Step 2
On the main menu, click Settings.
Step 3
Under Personalize and Customize website, click Images.
Step 4
The image pool opens. You can add your own images to the pool by clicking Upload Images.
Hint: If you have not created your own folder below All Pictures, your images will be placed in the Unassigned folder. We will show you how to transfer them to another folder in one of the following steps.Step 5
In the My Pictures area, you can create new folders by clicking the folder icon.
Step 6
You can move images to another folder by simply dragging it to the appropriate folder with the mouse.
Step 7
You can also easily delete, download or preview uploaded images.
Step 8
The IONOS Images section contains high-quality stock images that you can use free of charge. In addition to general categories, you will also find industry-specific recommendations.
