Changing the Partitioning of a Linux Dedicated Server

For Linux Dedicated Servers

All Linux images currently available for server initialization are equipped with the Logical Volume Manager (LVM). This makes it possible to create dynamically changeable partitions (logical volumes).

In order to offer you the greatest possible flexibility, not all of your server's capacity is pre-partitioned when delivered. This allows you to adjust and change the partitioning according to your needs.

Your hard disk is grouped into a VolumeGroup.

You can use the available storage space by choosing Enlarge existing volumes and/or create new logical volumes.
