Setting Up an Additional Exchange 2013 Account in the Samsung Email App
This article explains how to set up an additional Microsoft Exchange 2013 account on your Samsung smartphone or tablet in the Email app.

These setup steps were made using a Samsung GALAXY A50 smartphone model with Android 9 as an example. The menu items listed below may differ slightly on other Android models.

Microsoft Exchange 2013 : Setting up an Exchange account in the Samsung Email App
Start the Email app.
Tap on the three dashes in the top left corner.

To open the settings, tap the top right of the gear wheel.

Tap Add Account.

Tap Exchange.
In the Add New Account screen, enter your email address and password.
Tap Manual Setup.
In the Domain\User name field, enter your e-mail address in the following form: \johnsmith@example.com
In the Exchange Server field, enter exchange.ionos.us.

Ensure that the Secure Connection (SSL) option is enabled.
Tap Log in, and the following message appears: Apply security settings? You must apply the security settings required by your IT policy to use this account.
Tap Apply.
The Enable the Device Administrator app screen will display.
Tap Enable.
The Exchange account is set up.
